Welcome to what will either be a new series, or just a single post, I haven’t decided yet. Anyway, the premise is simple. I select a class of vehicles and you vote on which member of said class has the best base wheels. This time we’re featuring half-ton pickups.
If you think this is a fun idea and/or have a suggestion for another class, let me know.
A special “screw you” to Nissan and Toyota for making me do a screen shot just to get a serviceable image.
And now, let the games begin.

There's a special place in hell for stock F-150 wheels in my world. The rest of the wheels don't look like anything good nor bad, I personally love the stock Chevy ones. I just hate the F-150 base wheels.

Always been a fan of the base GM wheels. They don't quite scream "cheap" to me like the other ones do, particularly the Ford.

I quite like the new base wheels on the Silverado/Sierra. I damn near bought a set to replace my old base wheels on my ‘06 Sierra. I plan to in the future once they’re more common and cheaper, but they’re still new enough that they’re fetching a pretty good premium on the list of Craig.

I like the F-150's personally - they’re a trim ring away from 60's ‘rallye’ wheels seemingly every manufacturer sold in those days. Everyone else has crappy ‘mag’ knockoffs rendered in stamped steel.
